Anthony Carbines BIO

  • Member for Ivanhoe, Parliamentary Secretary to the Shadow Minister for Local Government and Suburbs

Anthony Carbines is the Labor Member for Ivanhoe. He was raised in Viewbank and lives in West Heidelberg with his wife Anita. He knows our area has a lot to offer, including great open spaces and excellent access to quality education and health services.
Anthony has worked as a journalist, a senior policy advisor and a Banyule City Councillor. In his council role, he worked with community organisations so they can provide services and respond to the needs of residents to ensure we can all enjoy a good quality of life.
Anthony will be a strong voice for our community. We need a government that will invest in jobs and services, protect our environment and ensure our suburbs remain great places to live and work.
For any assistance with a state government issue, please contact Anthony at his office.
