Ann Barker was first elected as the State Member for Oakleigh in 1999 and was re-elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010.
Ann was Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from December 2006 til December 2010.
Ann is a well known advocate for the local community, strongly representing local residents and community organisations to ensure they get a fair go.
Her particular policy interests are health, education and youth issues.
Ann is married with two adult children and lives in Oakleigh.
